However, I’m told it’s good for me to pursue physical activity, to keep pushing myself, for it will slow the progress of this pain-in-the-butt disability, and help me retain the use of all my appendages longer. Good to know. I can never hope to be 100% again but I can slow the progress and keep body and soul from deteriorating.

Kiyo has learned to dodge many a flung maul or an air-bound hammer up here at Chez Walden. I think he understands that it wasn’t intentionally aimed at him. Leastwise he readily forgives my faux pas once I ply him a few of his favorite treats.

So bring it on, ole’ man Winter. You’ve got an old Navy Man here and a damn good dog beside him.
